Appointments can be booked using the Book Appointment option on the website or
by contacting the clinic directly. You can choose from the available consultation
locations and timings while booking.
What should I bring to my first consultation?
Please bring your recent blood-test reports, previous prescriptions, relevant scans or
medical records, and details of all medicines and supplements you currently take. If
you monitor your blood glucose or blood pressure at home, please bring those
readings as well.
Do I need to get blood tests done before my first consultation?
Not necessarily. If you already have recent reports, please bring them with you.
Additional investigations, if required, will be advised after reviewing your medical
history and existing reports.
Can I consult if I am already receiving treatment from another doctor?
Yes. You may consult for a fresh assessment, treatment review, difficulty achieving
treatment goals, medication-related concerns or a second opinion. Please bring your
previous prescriptions and relevant medical records.
Where does Dr. Samiksha Singh consult?
Consultations are available at multiple locations. Please visit the Locations page for
current clinic addresses, timings and appointment details.
What should I bring to my first consultation?
Please bring your recent blood reports, previous prescriptions, relevant scans or medical records and a list of your current medications. Previous reports are particularly useful for understanding how your health parameters have changed over time.
Your Consultation
What can I expect during my first consultation?
Your first consultation includes a detailed review of your current concerns, medical
and family history, medications, previous reports and relevant lifestyle factors.
Depending on your condition, glucose, weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, hormonal
and other metabolic factors may also be assessed before an individualized treatment
plan is discussed.
What conditions can I consult Dr. Samiksha Singh for?
Consultations are available for diabetes, prediabetes, obesity and medical weight
management, insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome, thyroid disorders, PCOS
and women's metabolic health, fatty liver (MASLD), hypertension, cholesterol
disorders and preventive cardiometabolic care.
Can more than one health concern be addressed during the same
consultation?
Yes. Diabetes, weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, fatty liver, PCOS and other
metabolic conditions are often interconnected. Relevant concerns can therefore be
assessed together as part of your overall metabolic health.
Will I need additional tests?
Not everyone requires additional investigations. Tests are recommended according
to your symptoms, medical history, existing reports and individual clinical risk rather
than as a routine package for every patient.
Will my existing medicines be changed during the first consultation?
Not necessarily. Your current treatment will first be reviewed for effectiveness,
tolerability and suitability. Medicines may be continued, adjusted or changed
depending on your individual clinical needs.
Can I consult even if my reports are only “borderline”?
Yes. Mild abnormalities in blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, weight or liver
parameters may sometimes be more meaningful when considered together with
family history and other risk factors. A consultation can help determine whether
monitoring, lifestyle changes, further assessment or treatment is appropriate.
What should I do if I have an urgent medical problem?
The clinic provides scheduled outpatient consultations and is not an emergency
service. For severe or rapidly worsening symptoms or a medical emergency, please
seek immediate care at the nearest appropriate emergency facility.
Treatment & Follow-Up
Is treatment individualized?
Yes. Treatment is based on your diagnosis, medical history, current medications,
metabolic risk, lifestyle and individual circumstances rather than following the same
approach for every patient.
Will diet and lifestyle guidance be part of my treatment?
Where relevant, nutrition, physical activity, sleep, muscle health and other lifestyle
factors are incorporated into the treatment plan. Recommendations are
individualized and work alongside appropriate medical treatment
Does medical weight management always involve weight-loss medication?
No. Weight management is individualized according to your health, weight history,
previous treatment attempts and clinical needs. Medication may be considered when
clinically appropriate but is not necessary for everyone.
How often will I need follow-up consultations?
The frequency of follow-up depends on your condition, treatment plan, medication
changes and clinical progress. Your recommended follow-up interval will be
discussed during your consultation.
Do I need to repeat blood tests before every follow-up?
Not necessarily. The type and timing of repeat investigations depend on your
condition, medications and treatment goals. You will be advised which tests need to
be repeated and when.
What should I do if I experience a problem or side effect after starting a new
medication?
Please contact the clinic for guidance if you develop a suspected medication-related
problem rather than waiting for your next routine appointment. An earlier review may
be recommended depending on the situation.
Telemedicine & Video Consultations
Are video consultations available?
Yes. Video consultations are available for suitable medical concerns and follow-up
care, allowing you to consult remotely when an in-person visit is not necessary.
Can I book a video consultation for my first appointment?
Yes, a first consultation may be conducted by video when clinically appropriate. If
your condition requires a physical examination or cannot be adequately assessed
remotely, an in-person consultation may be recommended.
How should I prepare for a video consultation?
Keep your recent blood reports, previous prescriptions and current medication list
available. If relevant, have your recent weight, blood pressure or home glucose
readings ready. Please join from a quiet, private place with a stable internet
connection and a device with a working camera and microphone.
How do I share my reports before an online consultation?
Relevant blood reports, prescriptions and medical records can be shared through the
designated clinic communication or consultation platform before your appointment.
Booking instructions will explain how and where to send them securely.
Will I receive a prescription after a video consultation?
When medication is clinically appropriate and can be prescribed through
teleconsultation, a prescription can be provided following the consultation. In some
situations, further investigations or an in-person assessment may be advised before
treatment is initiated or changed.
Can all consultations be managed online?
No. Some medical concerns require physical examination, procedures or further
assessment that cannot be adequately performed through video. If this is necessary,
you will be advised to arrange an in-person consultation.
Are video consultations suitable for medical emergencies?
No. Video consultations are intended for scheduled outpatient care and should not
be used as a substitute for emergency medical services. If you have severe or
rapidly worsening symptoms or another medical emergency, please seek immediate
medical care.
